5 Simple Steps to Detox Your Body

We are constantly battling stress and toxins in our life. Short of living in a bubble we will never be able to avoid them completely. So until our bubble-homes are built here are some simple tips to begin to detox your body, and get it back into balance.
Baja Sal Cut the salt – Many foods are already high in salt, no need to add any more.
Suave Con el Alcohol Cut back on (or nix) the alcohol and caffeinated drinks (such as coffee, tea and soda). – These can all dehydrate the body.
De Colores Eat at least one colorful meal a day. You’re busy, and on the go. Make sure that at least one meal a day is super colorful, and nutrient-dense.
¡Muévete! Move it! – Not only will moving your body help you flush out toxins, stimulate endorphins and boost your energy, as Joseph Pilates said “Movement heals”.
