Yummy Summer Treats!
The Raspberry Mango Sundae is a great low fat treat for the summer AND it’s fast and simple to make.
Since I started my Sugar-Free Challenge, I’ll be altering this recipe to cut-out all refined sugars. See how I do this in my latest Sugar Alternatives Video – BUT in the meantime, I will be freezing some grapes for my afternoon snack. You can never go wrong with natural fruits!

    Ana-I think I’m going to try this, but to really cut out the refined sugar, I’m going to replace the nonfat ice cream (which is almost illegal to eat in a milk-producing state like WI!) with some yogurt cheese. It’s basically a cheap way of making Greek-type yogurt and really makes a thick, delicious creamy treat! I just line a strainer with coffee filters and dump an entire container of yogurt (lowfat, not nonfat) inside. I then let it sit overnight. That’s it. You can add in a touch of pure maple syrup for wonderful flavor as well.
