How exciting! I keep thinking about signing up for a half marathon (or at least a 10K) to get myself motivated… and I feel like if I start now I have just enough time to be less-jiggley for summer. I’ve always wanted to be one of those people who goes out for a nice long run, but I never seem to make it. Both my roommates are on cross country and will go out and run 10 miles like its nothing, and I wish more than anything that I could be at that point.

So, after reading your post today, I think I am finally going to stop pushing my goals to the side and get serious about becoming the runner Ive always wanted to be. I’m going to jump in on your training regimen this week… I’m so excited.. and yet dreading this haha. I love how today (Monday) starts out as a rest day!

Also – what kind of strength training are you doing?
