These ECOBAGS are so cool. They are small enough to keep anywhere. (There’s no excuse for not BYOB). I love that they are 100% certified organic, come in a couple of styles and an array of colors. Since they are so airy they’re a great place to put your stinky workout clothes, too. The coolest things about them is that they can hold 40 (Yes, FORTY) pounds each! THAT’S AMAZING!!!

ECOBAG arrived Friday, just as I was leaving for our library’s Story Time with my 5-year-old, Sasha. Talk about perfect timing! Because of course the books we checked out wouldn’t all fit in the one library bag I’d brought. The surplus went into the ECOBAG. I was a bit concerned about the weight of the books and the possibility of their corners tearing through the netting, but that wasn’t a problem at all.

After the library we went grocery shopping and I used the ECOBAG at the check-out counter for all the produce. It was like Jan Brett’s “The Mitten,” the bag just kept expanding a little more to accommodate all the squash, courgettes, lettuces, tomatoes, apples, bananas, cucumbers, carrots, sweet potatoes,…

Sasha likes the color (and the fact that the bag arrived in a package from Ana Caban; the kid still rolls out my exercise mat to do her own version of “Some Hundreds.” Usually in a tutu) and tried to claim the ECOBAG as her own, but nothing doing. I’ve got yarn in that exact chartreuse and I’ve promised I’ll crochet one for her (there’s no telling how mine will turn out, but that promise seemed to satisfy the kid).

Bottom line, I’m loving this bag. Thanks Ana!

A notorious giver, one of my favorites is to pay for the person’s meal behind me in a drive-thru. I LOVE Bobbi’s idea to pay off someone’s layaway! What a GREAT giving idea. I’ll have to copy the idea for this year’s special Christmas give. Thanks for sharing!
