Terrífico Tuesday – THE KING OF POP!

Submitted by on June 30, 2009 - 1:00 pm

Is there anyone in the world since the 70s that didn’t recognize the name Michael Jackson? The answer is NO WAY! Michael Jackson was named the King of Pop and transcended genders, race, and generations all over the world. He has greatly impacted the music we listen to today and the timeless hits that we turn to that mark every part of our lives. We had to say fairwell to him on Friday, June 25, 2009. After 50 years of living, and 40 years of sharing his music with us that we all laughed, danced, cried, dedicated and sang along to. I pray for his family and fans who mourn his death, R.I.P. Michael Jackson. Life was more beautiful with you in it!

it was definately shocking having him go… such a master and yet he had such a very difficult life. And while of course I don’t wish death on anyone, I feel like at least now, after all the many struggles he went through, he is finally at peace.

I have a ton of goals for the year! Most are very concrete because I think I’ll be more likely to achieve them. I wrote a set of 50 very specific goals for the year, such as reading a specific book or trying a specific number of new, healthy ingredients. I’ve also embarked on a competition with a large group of friend called “10 in ’10” where we strive to fulfill 10 goals over the year, ranging from working out 180 times to building a personal website. The group accountability will hopefully carry me through.

Your goals look great! I will definitely do all I can to assist you in reaching your fourth goal! I should have time to post on my blog about La Buena Life this weekend, and I’ll hit my weight loss chat boards up as well.
